- The European Parliament adopted by 415 votes to 220, with 51 abstentions, a resolution on the climate, energy and environmental State aid guidelines (CEEAG).The text adopted in plenary was tabled by the EPP, S&D and Renew groups.The rules on State aid for climate, energy and environmental projects should be fit for the sustainable transition and should be in line with the climate, energy, circularity, zero-pollution and biodiversity goals and ambitions of the Union. The current 2014-2020 guidelines on State aid for environmental protection and energy (EEAG) will expire on 31 December 2021.
